Safety in Naples during the cruise stopover
Although boat officials recommend watching your belongings and remaining vigilant in Naples, it’s important to put their message into perspective. Although it is true that vigilance is always required, particularly in large tourist cities, we must not allow ourselves to be overcome by fear because it has no place.
In fact, 99% of cruise passengers who visit Naples experience no problems. From our personal experience, after around fifteen visits, we have never had to report theft or assault.
This tends to demonstrate that Naples is not a more dangerous city than any other.
You just need to respect a few common sense rules, like everywhere else:
- Do not leave your personal belongings unattended.
- Be aware of your surroundings.
- Be correct and everything will go great!
By following these simple tips, you can fully enjoy your stay in Naples without worrying about your safety.
