Dragon Staircase. Climb the monumental staircase guarded by the famous salamander-shaped fountain, commonly known as “El Drac”. This salamander is one of the most photographed symbols of the park.
Nature Square. At the top of the stairs is the vast Nature Square, once intended as a market. It is surrounded by an undulating bench covered in colorful mosaics, offering panoramic views of Barcelona and the Mediterranean Sea.

Architecture. The fountains are located at the foot of the National Palace, with stunning views of the city and the Mediterranean Sea. They are surrounded by gardens and artistic statues, creating a spectacular atmosphere.

Light and water show. Experience a fascinating show where water is synchronized with music and light shows. Night shows are especially popular for their magical atmosphere.
Access. The fountains are easily accessible from the centre of Barcelona. You can take the metro to Plaça d’Espanya station (line 1 and line 3) and walk to the fountains, which are a few minutes’ walk away.

Located near the neighborhood of the same name, Barceloneta beach is one of the most popular in the city. This sandy beach is bordered by a lively promenade, filled with bars and restaurants. The beach is easily accessible by metro, with the “Barcelona” station on line 4.

Bogatell

Bogatell beach is quieter than Barceloneta beach, with a more relaxed atmosphere. This fine sand beach is equipped with showers and toilets. You can get there easily by metro, getting off at “Poblenou” station on line 4.

Mar Bella

Mar Bella beach is popular with young people and locals, with a trendy vibe. The beach is equipped with areas for water sports and beach volleyball courts. To get there, take metro line 4 and get off at “Selva de Mar” station.

Nova Icària
